Don't Look Back

I wrote this song about a young girl, who decided to follow her heart and got back in touch with her dad. For years & years she had listened to lies about him and was not allowed to see him. I'm really proud of her and happy for her and her dad who missed her SO much.

I believed in your lies, but not anymore
I've wasted years and now I'll walk out of that door
Another has opened, and I'm jumping free
To find what life has got in store for me!

 (Don't Look Back)
So many changes, (Don't Look Back)
There's so much to learn (Don't look Back)
And it's hard to choose which way I've got to turn
 (Don't Look Back)
 Friends disappearing, (Don't look back)
New ones I find (Don't look back)
I'm not looking back at what I've left behind

I'm not looking back, the road lies ahead
mem'ries of what has been just make me sad
Wish I had known this all through the years
But now at least I get to dry all of the tears

 (Don't Look Back)
So many changes, (Don't Look Back)
There's so much to learn (Don't look Back)
And it's hard to choose which way I've got to turn
 (Don't Look Back)
 Friends disappearing, (Don't look back)
New ones I find (Don't look back)
I'm not looking back at what I've left behind

Goodbye old life, hello new day
From now on I will find my own way
Wish I had know this, all through the years
But now at least I feel how my sadness disappears

 (Don't Look Back)
So many changes, (Don't Look Back)
There's so much to learn (Don't look Back)
And it's hard to choose which way I've got to turn
 (Don't Look Back)
 Friends disappearing, (Don't look back)
New ones I find (Don't look back)
I'm not looking back at what I've left behind
